Meanwhile the mastermind behind the chaos in the Seireitei is about to be revealed, but will the truth spell the end of the Soul Society? However, as we saw towards the conclusion of Part Two, we're now going off-script, and this will likely only ramp up.

Most of the background characters get a pretty decent fleshing out too (although there are some that could be expanded upon. This manga is constantly being checked out at the library where I work, so I decided to check out (literally) the 3-in-1 manga and the first volume anime to see what the fuss was about. Now a full-fledged Soul Reaper himself, Ichigo quickly learns that the world he inhabits is one full of dangerous spirits, and along with Rukia—who is slowly regaining her powers—it's Ichigo's job to protect the innocent from Hollows and help the spirits themselves find peace. Ichigo lost his Soul Reaper powers in the last battle, and he now must try to live the quiet life of an ordinary mortal. It would have been quite disjointed as there is a very limited amount of actual progress in each portion with a lot of character introductions as well as what is going on and why, so the thread of the story would have been very hard to follow. I realize I’m super late to the game on this series but I’ve been meaning to read it for a while now.

Unless something drastic happens to the storyline or the character development goes down the crapper, this is a series I will continue to (binge)read. Now that I've gotten into it, well, I'm sorry I didn't pay more attention earlier- there's a hell of a lot of manga to get through! When a hollow was too strong for Rukia, she lend her powers to Ichigo, little did she know that he has extra-ordinary abilities that questions the mystery of who Ichigo really is. It’s 75 volumes in total and if you get the 3-in-1 versions (like my library did), it’s around 25 books. This isn't that strange in normal books, but since this book uses pictures the bleed through can make an damage details in an image. It's been around 11 years since I've read Bleach, and I've decided to actually try and finish the series this time. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. From then on the rest of the 3 in 1 volume has mostly stories of Ichigo hallow haunting and taking down big bads for people. seriously sad stuff in there - dead family members make guest appearances, and I actually found some of the scenes so touching and painful.
